What Is High Density Polyethylene? What Are The Properties And Uses Of It? Feb 19, 2018

High density polyethylene resin is polymerized under low pressure, so it is also called low pressure polyethylene.

1 performance

The resin is white powder or granule; non-toxic, tasteless, rarely branched, so high density, high crystallinity (85%-95%); high temperature and high hardness; tensile mild; chemical stability; electrical insulation, toughness and good cold tolerance but slightly worse than the low density polyethylene; low water absorbent film; the water vapor and air permeability.

2 use

It can be used for extrusion molding, extrusion blow molding and injection molding. It can be used for making pipes, rods, sheets, films, silk, bottles, buckets and all kinds of mechanical parts. It can also press molding and powder coating.
